I'll refer to this forum thread, which I stumbled across when trying to find a bios update for my Asus P4SD-LA motherboard. Asus doesn't support this one because it's got HP-edited bios. It's very restrictive and is driving me insane. I'll be trying the fixes written there though.
Before I went to the drastic step of trying to flash my bios, I found a post mentioning that one could enter an improved bios menu with f11. It worked!
