Some months ago I wrote about my new computer, which came with a monitor and all. HP, with the monitor being f1703. Today, while booting up my computer, the screen went black. The power light was still blue, and there wasn't anything that indicated a lost signal. So I turned it off and back on. Picture for a couple of seconds, then black again. Rinse and repeat. Same thing happens every time.
I googled it, because to google something has become a socially accepted verb. In a sea of complaints, this particular thread stood out. Apparently this is a common issue with that exact monitor. That's luck, eh? At least my Acer stuff has yet to crap out on me.
