For those of you who care about my musical endeavours, the album project Maverick Rising (which I'm a part of, should there be any doubt) is closing in on a release date. Tracks have been mastered, and there's a final evaluation phase left before everything is wrapped up.
After listening through what I guess I could call the release candidate, I've begun to feel that my own track isn't on par with the rest. There is so much talent on this album that I almost feel honored to be a part of it too.
I have to mention Stemage's latest album as well. It's called Zero Over Zero, and has been called everything from indie to grunge to post-rock to metal, and I'm not very good with genre classifications myself so I'll stay out of that one. The album is focused mostly on rhytm guitar and drums, and Stemage really is a master of drum tracks. I suspect I'll keep listening to this album for a very long time. Bandcamp has a preview function, so you have no reason not to check it out if you're interested so far ;)
